Join us for a relaxed Abstract Sip & Paint experience at Art Play London, located in the heart of East London just outside Old Spitalfields Market. This is not a traditional painting class. It’s all about abstract expression — bold colours, loose brushstrokes, and creative freedom. There’s no right or wrong way to paint, making it perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a fun and creative night out. Our resident artists will give you a few simple tips to get started, but after that it’s completely up to you. Paint freely, experiment, and enjoy a drink while you create. The experience: We provide everything you need — paints, canvas, brushes, and aprons — so you can simply turn up and start creating. A fully stocked bar is available serving a selection of drinks, and food is also available to purchase during your session. Come on your own or with friends — it’s a social, relaxed environment where everyone is welcome. Important information: Beginner-friendly Includes all materials to complete a canvas painting to take home A free drink on arrival (not included in unguided or free-flow sessions) Arrive on time — late arrivals over 10 minutes may not be admitted Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled if minimum numbers are not met Please note: Please treat staff with respect and drink responsibly. Art Play reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who is highly intoxicated. Welcome to Art Play London! Below is our policy guide for your smooth, enjoyable, and safe experience. Booking Policies Public Sessions - No refunds except within the first 10 minutes. - Rescheduling permitted up to 72 hours before for workshops, 24 hours for free-flow sessions. - No refunds or rescheduling for lateness past 10 minutes or no-shows. - Attendees more than 10 minutes late are not permitted entry Private Sessions - A non refundable deposit of 50% of booking required. - No refunds or remaining balance unless cancellation 7 days prior. - £100 rescheduling fee, 7 days' notice required. General Policies Lateness - Entry not permitted for arrivals more than 10 minutes late. - No refunds or rescheduling for lateness. Conduct - Kindness and respect towards staff is essential for a positive environment. Alcohol Consumption - Drink responsibly; intoxication causing disturbance leads to expulsion. Artwork Collection - Storage fees: £3 for paintings, terrariums up to 7 days. - Collection deadlines: 7 days for candles, pottery, marbling; 2 weeks for acrylic pour, mosaics. - Unclaimed items may be upcycled, sold, or given away. - We are not responsible for lost or damaged artwork Outside Food and Drink - Strictly prohibited; refreshments available at our bar. Children - Guests under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Contact Us - Allow up to 3 working days for responses. Health and Safety - First-aid trained staff on duty. - Not responsible for injuries; COVID-19 precautions observed.
